MP ANDY FILLMORE HONORED HIS BET WITH MP CHRISTINE MOORE

OTTAWA–  Liberal MP Andy Fillmore (Halifax) honored his bet with new democrat MP Christine Moore (Abitibi-Témiscamingue) and wore the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies jersey in the House of Commons following the defeat of Halifax against Rouyn-Noranda in the QMJHL finals.

‘’Congratulations for the Huskies victory and for this wonderful series’’, said the MP from Halifax. ‘’Now it's the Memorial Cup’’ added Mr. Fillmore.

Christine Moore said she was confident that Rouyn-Noranda would win again. ‘’Halifax, Guelph and Prince Albert are certainly excellent hockey teams, but the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies had a dream season with a talented team that setted a new record at the QMJHL with 59 victories. It is their year’’, said the Abitibi-Témiscamingue MP.
