Be Flood Ready
Protect your family
There is no need to look at the statistics to confirm that when it comes to climate, we are facing an unusual year. The numerous roof collapses and the imposing snowbanks are clear indications that the rains were as important as our aches from clearing snow.
Although floods can occur anywhere and at any time, the last winter came with a large amount of snow and ice, which suggests a significant flood risk during spring melt.
Unless you live in an area already identified as being at risk, a flood is usually not the first emergency that comes to mind, so we are often unprepared to deal with it.
That's why I came up with the idea of preparing a guide with information, tools and tips to help you prevent risks and guide you when dealing with floods. You can download the document by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
You will also find links to specialized resources that I strongly encourage you to consult.
